Sarah
Greetings;

I thought I should tell you a little about myself, what I have to offer and what I’m looking for as a House Manager/Personal Chef/ Caretaker.

I am a down-to-earth, take-charge type of individual with strong leadership abilities, great work ethics and organizational skills, and an endless store of practical experience and knowledge. Having spent most of my life self-employed I am highly motivated and work well independently. Intelligent and open-minded with a pleasant personality, a good sense of humor and a wide range of interests and talents, I like variety and am willing to tackle almost any new situation.

As a House Manager/Caretaker I enjoy the variety and challenges provided in caretaking a large property. I have no problem with hands-on solutions to the daily problems that arise. I set high standards for myself and I work well with others of like mind.

I am an excellent cook with interests and experience in everything from ethnic to vegetarian, and low-cal to gourmet. As a fourth generation professional scratch cook, I literally grew up in the kitchen. Cooking is a form of creativity for me and I think food should be beautiful as well as healthy and flavorful. I find it very rewarding when my clients enjoy exploring different types of food as much as I do. I collect and study cookbooks and will one day have to write one for some of my own creative recipes. I have greatly enjoyed the close personal relationship I had with my in-home clients and I found I really liked spoiling them.

A country girl at heart, I have an extensive background with dogs, horses and other animals. My hobbies are Middle Ages historical reenactment where I am a competition fencer and archer, costumer, illuminator, lace maker and cook. I am also a sculptor and carver of wood, horn, bone, amber and of late, turnips. I am a practicing artist with a goal of someday having my own studio.

I look forward to meeting you.

Sincerely,

T. Sarah Lynn
